Please answer the following to determine your eligibility for a MEFA REFI Loan:

Are you a U.S. citizen or permanent resident?
Yes No

Have you ever defaulted on a student loan debt?
Yes No

Have you had a bankruptcy or foreclosure within the past 60 months?
Yes No

Are you, as the primary borrower, a signor on all the student loan debt to be refinanced?
Yes No

Do you, as the primary borrower, have a minimum of $10,000 in student loan debt to be refinanced?
Yes No

Are you currently making monthly payments on all of the student loan debt to be refinanced?
Yes No

In order to apply for the MEFA REFI Loan, you must be a U.S citizen or permanent resident.

In order to apply for the MEFA REFI Loan, you cannot have had a prior default on a student loan debt.

In order to apply for the MEFA REFI Loan, you cannot have filed bankruptcy or foreclosure within the past 60 months.

In order to apply for the MEFA REFI Loan, you must be a borrower on all the student loan debt you are looking to refinance.

In order to apply for the MEFA REFI Loan, you must have at least $10,000 in existing student loan debt.

In order to apply for the MEFA REFI Loan, your existing student loan debt must be in repayment. The student loan debt cannot be in grace, in deferment, or in forbearance. If you are looking to finance the current school year, please visit us at http://www.mefa.org.
